So shut up in heart and mind with no one there to hear me scream.
No one there to make time stop, make sunlight shine or help redeem.
So alone, so broken down, this song forever playing through.
And so I cry the tears still sparkle like soft new morning dew.
And then a voice so pure and sweet comes whipping through the dark and silence.
The sound is his who keeps me from the awful loneliness and violence.
His touch makes darkness creep away, into sunlight's gentle rays.
He makes my weeping stop so soundly and makes me want to live my days.
Death no longer is an exit waiting for the night to creep.
Here I stay inside his arms, throughout my dreams, inside my sleep.
A promise made of love that lasts until our single timely death,
Shall be kept no matter what, until my body sheds its last breath.
You are my prayer, my love, and such grace
I shall never forget your tender face
