Closing down a dance studio...
The look at a cow, is a April Fools joke I played on my kids every year (still do) but this year, my daughter finally got me to look out "at the cow looking in". LOL

Too bad to close this chapter in her life, but good will continue for her.

Where once she gave almost every dime
The time has come where she has no more time
To finish school and go to work also
Something else dear had to be let go
It is something that she has done for many a year
To not do it, will be quite queer
She loves to spin and jump and bend
To be a part of the music, to show, to tend
Choreograph any music or song
She could do it, short or long
From since she was 5 until just now
She only told me this year “look out the window, there is a cow”
She loved to teach the small and the new
She loved to teach them old of the dance shoe
But now comes an end to that labor of love
She threw all she had into it, like a cooing from a dove
It will be missed, the annual events
Inside and outside, but with no malcontent
To close the studio she thought long and hard
Would she, could she, go without a leotard?
The teacher needs time for school and study
So no more recitals and no more parades
We will all be happy with the choice she made
She can be proud and she can be happy
As I am proud of my daughter; signed her pappy!
