Fields of Paper White is the very first installment to The Blackout Sequence. Set in the year of 3560, planet Earth is nothing like the world we know now. Once China and America merged to form the largest power on Earth, they began their UNITY program. Hundreds of years later, UNITY was completed and the Earth was no longer a world of division, but a world under one government and peace. However, UNITY branched out to other worlds, attempting the same results, and failing. Attracting the attention of an alien species, Earth has been launched into an intergalactic war, with no way out but to fight. Earth is known as the 'Mother' planet to aliens, because Earth is the last planet known to have green life and thriving, the other planets being completely dead. Between shifters, humans, psychics, and aliens, Earth is in for some trouble. The Blackout Sequence is shown through the eyes of a particular ship, The Mei-Mei (little sister), and its fighter pilot crew and Captain.
