The sun sets and they want to play.

The sun sets and it's time to play. One by one they all leave their hiding place. All you can see is flashes of green, that vanish just as quickly as they appeared. You know they were there though. You can tell by the hissing noise that escapes their mouths as they attack their latest victim. By the smell that can make the young heave and the old cry for mercy. But most of all you know that they were there from the feeling they leave behind. A feeling that can  rip away a person's sanity and leave them feeling devoid.
