Burnt Biscuit

A loud clap echoes from the ice

taking flight should feel very nice

A driven bullet, a laser blast

in all your travels you've never gone this fast

Skimming low, through the trees

this shot has eyes, will hit no knees

On its way, you can see some daylight

it may find its way in, high and to the right

Slow motion now,the goalie is toast

but a last defense gets it, it slams off the post!

The sound of failure echoes in your ears

the game is lost, and now come the tears
