The calling chapter 1.
Many years this nation has been peaceful we stayed out of conflicts, that other got themselves in to. But what we thought was safe was soon to end.
I rode on my horse quickly to our camp, constantly looking back in to my pouch.Trying to navigate through the wet terrain that the rain caused. Eventually I reached the camp running to Command center.
"Sir!" I said with a calm voice while breathing heavily.
"Fly my dear boy what has gotten in to you?" he askedwith much concern
"You better read this" I said nervously as I gave him the letter. I watched as his eyes grew bigger and as his mouth dropped.
"Where did you get this?"he suddenly asked me,
"The messenger he came by to our outpost dropped it off" I said breathing heavily.
"Get my commanders! Get them in here now!" The king said angrily.
Time passed by after I got the commanders the king offered me a seat to join them. This was a rare opportunity.
As we satdown The king began to talk. "We have a problem, The high official court of nations has ordered all soldiers to fight to thedeath till one army is standing."The king said with a irritated voice.
"Who do we fight against?" A soldier asked curiously.
"We have been forced to enter the battle of the nations our children must enter the war." As I listened all the commanders werestunned and whispering to each other. Suddenly then, one commander spoke out.
"The children have not even completed their training! They cannot enter let me take my men and we will fight"
"NO" yelled the king.
"I hate this just has much as you do but we have no choice. We must comply with the war"
