I'm sitting here, jobless, staring at a computer screen, in my bed, at nineteen years old.

Shouldn't I be terrified right now?

I don’t think so.

Well am I at least scared, yes; of course I am. But who isn't scared when they’re unemployed?

I'm regularly job-seeking, keeping up my spirits, and focusing on what’s happening right now.

What am I doing? Well, when I'm done with the days job search, I continue to work on what I love - writing, painting and photography.

When I'm in the moment of working on what I love, I feel good. I stop worrying about everything, because it’s what I live for.

You understand - Yes, it’s very difficult for everyone right now, but you can’t let your struggles take over you.

Take the time to do what’s best for you. Eat your favourite food, watch a classic, listen to that one song, play that fantastic game, make crafts, write etc.

If you put the time into what you love, then you’ll remember why you’re still going.
