I'm not very good at this part. Can I skip it? No? Okay. Well, what we got here is a book full of very short stories. And by short I mean real short. I guess you could call them "Flash Fictions," but I don't want to. To me they're just fragments. Hopefully the fragments add up to some kind of mangled whole. Oh, but wait, lots of these stories have very famous people in them. Does that interest you? Wilhelm Reich? Ryan O'Neal? Jimmy Connors? Henry Miller? Marty Feldman? Do you like that kind of stuff? I do. I don't know if anyone else does. Probably not. Oh well. Poor me. Poor, poor me. Looks like I'm going to have to comfort myself. Which I don't mind. I like comforting myself. I like holding myself and making myself feel better. I like making myself a cup of Sleepytime Tea and then getting in bed and telling myself that everything is going to be okay. Because I think it is. I think everything is going to be just fine. Now I sound just like Anthony Perkins. He's also in this book. There's a piece with him hanging out in his trailer, shooting herion. Does that sound interesting to you? You like to watch actors do drugs? I do. I also like to watch them get flustered. Like Warren Beatty. The time Marlon Brando stole Joan Collins from Warren Beatty and Warren Beatty got all flustered. That's also in this book. Is it true? I don't think so. You know why? Because I made it up. Because this book is nothing but a bunch of worthless lies.
