my experience so far of transition year in my school it's compulsory in my school, I wish it was better but nothing that the teachers promised actually happened, its a good year for me of what I have achieved but I barely get any fun because all we do is work and projects and barely any school trips which is unfair.

My thoughts of Transition Year

All summer long i've been waiting for the day i would enter Transition Year

It's a year of fun, they said

It's a year of repairing friendships, they said

I was glad, this year will make Tami like me

This year, Ruby would include me in her group

This year, the boys will become more mature and friendly

When Transition Year began, i entered my classroom

Everything was still the same, there was no difference at all

Older, bigger, stronger, but they still acted like 4 year olds

If anything this year was like repeating montessori all over again

Ignorant little babies, i say

The teachers did not care about our needs

It was all work, work, work

Barely any school trips, which they promised

I felt like a prisoner in a cell

I needed freedom

Every time a fun trip was about to happen, it was cancelled because of ones bad behaviour

This whole year was a lie, a big whole lie
