You talk, I listen
You ask me, I always say yes
Not realizing what was going on
Everyone sees it, but they don't say anything
When I finally realize it
The damage is already done
I just want to run and be left alone
I'm better off alone

You leave me feeling cold
I can't trust anyone now
People lie, People use others
It repeats in my mind
Over and over again
Why did you set me up to feel good about myself?
Only for you to see me fail in the end
I never thought you would do that to me
I just want to be left alone
I'm better off alone

You keep coming back
Acting like nothing happened
But you should've known better
That I would eventually learn my lesson
Now it's your turn to find out
How it feels to be in my shoes
I don't need you, and I never will
Now you'll know how I feel
Find out how being alone feels like
