"Change in Seasons"

Poem by: Christian Taylor

Summary

This is something new that I learned from another poet. Think of this as Haiku poetry on steroids. This is called "Hyper Haiku"...its like a normal haiku except instead of a 5-7-5 syllable pattern; its a 5-7-7-7-7-7-5 syllable pattern with a (5,2) format on the 7s.

Tall trees touch blue skies
I'm surrounded by; them all
Colorful leaves falling; falling
Birds sing as they fly; fly south
A cold northern breeze; I feel
Winter is slowly; coming
White snowflakes soon fall
