Life mirrors a sad song
When heartbreak, pain, sorrow, and depression comes
Its crying melodies kills us

But sometimes those sad songs can become a catharsis and lead us to a sunny future.
Very true...thank you for enjoying the poem.

the dead poet
true very , well put,a nice abridgement of emotion
Thank you! :)
Songs reflect the feelings that exist within us and help us to understand emotions and examine our deep conscious thoughts.
A nice poem which is introspective and reassuring.
Thank you...glad you like it. :)
AN enjoyable read! Just thought I would point out to you that a true haiku poem consists of:
3 lines (broken down by 'syllables' NOT words.)
1st line is 5 'syllables'
2nd line is 7 'syllables'
3rd line is 5 'syllables'
This is NOT meant to be critical as I enjoyed your poem. It is just meant to hopefully be a little helpful. Happy days.....Jerry (*_*)
Yeah...I did realize that, but that was after I've written 20 or 30 poems already. Haha. If you read the poem..."I've Never Told You"; that one is a true haiku. Thanks for pointing that out. Much appriciated. :)
That was an awesome piece. I love haiku 'cause they're so short and at the same time they have a huge message. It's really difficult to me write a haiku and I see you do this so gracefully. Congratz!
Keep up the good work.
Thank you! Glad you like the poem!
RIGHT ON THE MONEY!...GOOD JOB!
