"The Truth"

By Christian Taylor and Darkism

Standing alone in a field,

A cool breeze rushes pass me.

The silence of nature leaves the soul at peace,

Just the leaves are starting to rise,

Of the condemned floor of my lies that I will never tell you,

The truth rather be burnt to the ground.

My soul emptied by past mistakes,

Here I stand trying to lift the weight off my shoulders.

Feel at peace, but weight of guilt still there.

Still somewhere where it pulls.

My gravity field down under, where the life can’t be held,

Where you don't exist in my head.
