Stumbled upon a mystery,

Indeed something full of mystery,

Thought provoking,

And puzzling,

Oh where, oh where,

Does one begin from here?

Questions arise,

Along with too quick conclusions arise,

Starting over with nothing,

Perhaps, discover an answer from the nothing.

Searching, searching, searching,

Questions need answering,

Discovery becomes no chance,

Clues are scarce,

Witnesses long gone,

Or forgotten the memories of years long gone,

New evidence could crack a case,

Or do nothing for the case,

A dead-end for a mystery,

Could remain an unsolved mystery.

Sherlock Holmes could have answers reflecting reality,

But fictional characters don't become reality,

Leaves a character from reality frustrated,

Nothing to left to go, but except defeat in the fight,

Tips give a glimmer of hope to give the case new light,

Perceptions might have changed,

Case will remain unchanged,

Someday, the mystery to the case will be solved,

Or forever it may be a mystery unsolved.
