Forgot to Say

She smiled as his name flashed across her phone screen. "Hello sweet heart!" She piped cheerfully. He laughed a bit. "Hello dear. How was your day?" he asked softly. "It was perfect" she said sarcastically. "That bad, huh?" He asked. "Well...I mean, it was better when i was with you... But now it just a phone, so......." She trailed off. There was silence and a bit of yelling. "Baby?" She asked, slightly worried. "I gotta go." CLICK She looked at the now empty screen and sighed. "I love you to..." She said to nothing. She went to her room and laid down on her bed for a few minuets. Thinking about nothing. A few minuets later the phone rang again but she didn't even look. "Hello?" she asked.
