A short poem on what it feels like when I get annoyed, then angry and want to let go and react.
Disclaimer: This isn't what actually happened, just how I felt in the moment :P

Discomfort and annoyance build into rage

As yet unleashed, willing it to remain inside

Hoping not to hear that sound of a tearing page

The precursor to violence, as angel and demon divide

Fighting to quell the thirst, the desire to transform

Pushing sense aside and releasing the screams

Breaking the emotional status quo, the norm

Terror incarnate; personification of nightmarish dreams

Letting go it rises and erupts, furious and terrible

Glowing from the wild and infinite energy

The hate, anger and malice incomprehensible

Fusing within my body, creating a sadistic synergy

It takes over, a vile torrent of darkness

Movement comes swiftly, hands on fire

Death, blood and sweet vengeance

Mangled and broken forms on a funeral pyre

Surveying a sickening scene; no one left

A laugh escapes, maniacal and murderous

Proud of the destruction; emotionally bereft

The rage satisfied, returns to the abyss
