This icy heart

freezing so thick.

That my loneliness

has made me sick.

Turning north bound

to an unknown destination.

Temperature falling

I have reached my resignation.

I find a river .

As cold as ice.

I drown in the river

now I will pay the price.

I hear the echo

of a heartsick song.

When I hear the bell ringing

I know she has gone.

Headed south

to escape the cold.

And here I am

in this undertow.

Drifting down the river.

The horns sound off

like morning alarms.

The bow has buckled

this ship

sinks at dawn.

Pitch black sky

water so clear.

Let's make the wrongs right.

And hold our hearts near.

Further down stream

Further apart.

Why can't I use the warmth of love

to melt your ice cold heart?

I have a secret

in my breath.

Suffocating on H20

The life of me has left.

They'll find me down in new Orleans

with my heart facing the channel.

Cause of death is a broken heart.

The judge will drop the gavel.

A hidden motive

an alibi lost.

Your ice cold heart

wasn't worth the cost.

I will be the only one to blame.

And the ice cicles will melt away

at the sound of your name.

My love is what I intend to give.

Without your love

I can't live.

Because I'm deeply in love

with you.

My worries won't arise.

I join you on the shore.

This isn't a tale of suicide

Only a love's metaphor.

Your heart has been warmed.

It is thriving just the same.

The coldness of the ice cicles

in your heart.

They all just melt away .

At the sound of your name.

We go strong

with a love to persist.

For this vision of a river.

Doesn't exist.

Water high

Reflection blue.

I don't know what I'd do

without you.
