A cedar branch

a robin's nest ,

fraying dawn

a morning's breath .

The brightest sun

shuttles the sky ,

filters the clouds

expanding wide.

It was born of heart

and resting still ,

but to it's thrill

we all fall ill .

You can't prevent

It spreads with touch and kiss ,

your hygenic hands

won't help you to resist.

Destined to live

throughout it's quarantine ,

you may fear the worst

but it's a gorgeous misery.

Silver moon

backlight of falling stars ,

there's no place to confide

It lives by light and dark.

Ignorance

attempting to conceal

it's internal spark

that won't rest still.

To it's thrill

we all fall ill,

To it's thrill

we all fall ill.

We can't prevent

so why don't we all give in,

to it's contagious spread

that we can't resist?

To disappear

at three a.m. ,

to be followed by

the eternal lingering

of it's expense .

Born of heart

It won't rest still

we all are victims

to it's thrill.
