See these stains, they mar my face forever.

They are black and they run from my eyes,

It seems they're always coming back no matter how much I wash them away.

It hurts, this pain.

It hurt from the beginning,

Once they started melting down my face,

Hot, stinging tears,

All shed for you.

You will not console me, nor can you kiss them away.

They are stains now,

And they will remind me of how you hurt me,

How you twisted my heart and eked out the blood,

How you brought these dark tears up from the depths of my poor soul.

You're killing me,

Your leaking out my last tears.
