My hands against my forehead; thinking i am, of what may you ask? The day i was questioned, the day she lost all hope in what i could do, She was the one to whom i prove my legacy to. I sleep and i wake up haunted by that day she pointed and said; you and you will do good in the future, but why shall she not point to me? My face drops like my vanilla ice cream cone does on a hot summer day, Sometimes i wish i could go back to that day. I should have spoken up and said... You are the reason...you shall be the reason to whom i prove my legacy to! What i leave behind is not an item, It cannot be bought, Nor can be found, Although some people will find it, Others will not. If you find what i left behind, the die i die, and what i shall be remebered by; you understood my rhyme.
If you are ever the person thou face will fall be sure not to grudge, ignore what they have said, if you are ever the person thou shall be questioned and lost all hope in, be sure not to grudge, for she or he was the reason for your legacy. It took me many years to defeat her negetive remarks like bullets i dodged, One bullet hit. It left me paraliyzed for a short time, thats when i knew.. She was the critic to my movie, she found the mistakes when i didn't after editing, As i thought i knew it all, i entirely was very wrong
you can either dodge; take it and grow and be the best, or you can let it hit and make you fall like your ice cream cone a hot summer day, Did you understand my legacy? If you did, you have been through what i have been, If you didn't i shall explain... I learned at a young age that life was going to be hard, there where going to be people who would bring you down, They will punch you, Bully you until you get it straight, They were all negetive comments trying to bring you down, but one is small and quiet that you will let everything hit, But there comes a time you learn to dodge it all. My legacy is strenght that can't be bulit by muscles, But by one's self. You can either take it and dodge or you can let it hit and let your face fall like the ice cream cone on a hot summer day.
