Roots and ashy elbows

Clank together with a smile

She left me by the stereo

Hummed to the music for a while.

Strawberry Jane, sip the sweet lemonade

Memories take a moment to make

Asphalt cracks in the shade

Submarine sweat

Has she got you nervous yet?

Making love to the rhythm

Of a song.
