Coffee creamer in the cup,

Water on the stove.

Will the sun come out today,

And tell the story that we wove?

Thoughts are crystalline,

And the air is still and cold.

The radiator shakes with rage,

When did everyone grow old?

Being lonely, being tired,

That's the life we know.

Death stomps on the frozen ground,

And nothing seems to grow.

Coffee creamer in the cup,

I just want to cheer up.

Cheer up.
