I wrote this a long time ago, but it's cute, so I thought I would share it.

Good Boy, Paco!

Everybody finishes dinner when Mrs. Higwig says,

“Time to wash the dishes, Paco!”

But Paco the naughty boy refuses to budge an inch.

The pile of dishes grows and grows and grows.

Why won’t Paco wash the dishes, do you suppose?

“Time to feed the dog, Paco!”

But once again…

Paco the naughty boy refuses to budge an inch.

The poor dog’s tummy growls and rumbles.

“Why won’t Paco feed me?” The poor dog mumbles.

“Time to visit Grandma, Paco!”

But Paco the naughty boy still refuses to budge an inch.

Finally, Mrs. Higwig takes one look at the pile of dirty dishes and cries.

Paco’s Grandma sits all alone and starts to cry too.

Then the dog, who still hasn’t been fed, cries.

And Paco, all alone and bored in his room, thinks to himself.

It makes him so unhappy to see everybody crying.

So he gets up…

washes the dishes…

feeds the dog…

visits his grandma…

And finally everyone stops crying.

Paco’s face lights up with a smile.

And the dog barks, “Good boy, Paco!”
