I feel like wrenching myself from this
Dungeon
of spattered blood
and disease
the vultures
encircle
my shadow
waiting
waiting for the moment that I slip up
and crawl out of my hole
before
the sun is extinguished.
I want to be that shooting star
and be far, far away
the vultures make it hell
for me to stay.
