"Most people have stereotypes against people with mental disorders, like they just sit there all day and claw at the walls and bang their head against the floor, but that was nothing like my experience. Most of the teenagers I interacted with were either really suicidal or chronically depressed, many of them seemed normal, whatever that's supposed to mean."

When Claire Murphy almost committed suicide, her family sends her to St. Mary's Psychotic Institution for teenagers. Claire decides to keep a diary while she's in there, so she can write her perspective on being a mental patient through her eyes. Along with some of the other patients that will write their experience on being in there as well. So enter the padded walls of "Imaginary Friends"
