Does absence make the heart grow fonder?
Or does it trick the mind?
Now all the time it takes to wonder
Wasted here 'cause it was blind.

If someone flees without consent
And leaves you all alone,
They don't deserve acknowledgment
If from your life they've flown.

They've hurt you, not the other way.
Don't blame yourself for this.
It doesn't seem at all okay
For them to have their bliss.

Don't think of giving up, not yet.
There's gotta be one true duet.
