I must say it does well to portray a detective/thrill novel. The black and white kinda feels like it's almost ironic. For every detective story is almost NEVER just black and white. And the fact that it's raining on the model walking down the stairs with no sign of lighting up sets the atmosphere that tells you the case is deeper than it really seems.

You know something, I'm not gonna lie here, I just found this image really interesting in the sense of my story. But now you put it that way, I see more potential to it xD And yeah, noir detectives have more appeal to me. :D

This is actually an interesting cover. Corect me if I'm wrong but it Takes on the look of a mystery or detective type of theme. I think the image embodies the name to the fullest. The shades of grey give it the kinda smoke theme and the rain is self explanitory. I like the fact the cover isn't actually smoke and rain because this is more abstract and thought provoking. Ill be looking forward to reading.

Wow, I like that the image has given such a feeling towards you as the audience. And the story will be based around the life of a detective. I'm glad you're so eager to read it. :) Thank you.

Well,I don't want to be the only person with an negitive comment- well this isn't exactly a "negitive comment"- but personally I disagree with this cover."Smoke in the Rain" to me is a more simple title and this cover is like "Wow". Yes, it potrays the detective really spot on ,but a less explosive cover would have did your title better.

I'm glad to hear some criticism. Although I felt that an 'active' cover would contrast the title nicely, it would seem not to. Perhaps I could change it? Again, thanks for the structural criticism. :)
