 Last Goodbye

She spoke his name with deep hesitation."Antonio." She saw the very breath escape from her perfecly blood red lips. She looked around it was bleak. The whole cemetery was covered in a blanket of snow. Their was no other color in the cemetery accept for her dressed in all black. From above it looked like a small balck spec and miles of white snow. She looked at the tombstone. It was the first she look at it face to face. Something was different not just the cemetery but her. She was ready to let go. It was as if time just stopped and it was just her. She caressed the stone and began to stand. Suddenly small things of snow fell gently on her each landing perfectly. Their was nothing else but her. She looked around one more time and began to walk away. Their was no other sound accept that of her heels crunching against the crisp snow. As she walked away she said " Antonio I am sorry I could not save you but know I always loved you." She took a gasp as almost she was punched in the stomach. She had never said I love you to anyone out loud before. Then a huge gust of wind twirled around her. She heard his voice say " Goodbye" She knew it was him. She began to walk away as the wind subsided. A black tear drop rolled down the side of her pale white cheek. She knew how he had felt now to.
