A A A

Sometimes—
the stars come down like rain,
soft and tender.
All this quiet light,
A night, a soul, awash in glowing shine

We fail—
this temporal world and people,
and our starlight ascends.
All this quiet light,
I saw them once and reached and yearned.

My eyes widen and separate from my confines,
All this quiet light,
These bodysnatchers, I need them to take me away…
