What is this place?
A darkened, quickened house,
Imploding on itself.
Collapsed and rewound,
In silence little understood,
It haunts the deepening corridors of the swirling
Pools.

What is this place?
Raking its fingers across
The foggy window pane,
Yet peeling away the liquid layers
Of a consistent dripping ancient fall.
This glass—
Desperate and in need
Of  the sublimation of its insistent spirit.

It’s waiting

For your help.

What is this place?
Singing a single sordid glance my way.
But it still calls
Me like a
Siren,
Driving into the cliffs.

What is this place?
