DECORATING BLUES

How I wish that you could see what I see

But each photon is bent through

The prism that is me

So I abhor paisley and you adore plaid

Decorating for two

Is driving me mad

Swatches are tear-stained and wet

Paint chips litter the place

I long for the peace before we met

Rugs form a battlefield wide

Be it Berber you say and I think mace

Will blood come off and not leave a trace?

Love, Honor and agree with ME!

Has no one thought to add that vow?

So important to marriage

As I see NOW!
