I clenched my fits together as I sneaked up the wooden steps of my grandmothers house. Luckily she was sleeping. As I kept my pace slow and steady reaching the top of her stairs. I heard a clomp at the end of the hall. It seemed like it had come from her bedroom. She never would let me go into that room. Apparently too personal. So I had to examine the room myself.

I had reached the top of the stairs without hesitation. Turning the corner to her room. I had seen a rat run past. It had frightened me and I luckily jumped instead of screamed. I moved towards her bedroom down the hall taking one step at a time. I loosened my hands and let them hang by my side. Now standing in front of the door I had been forbidden to open. I grabbed the curved door-knob tightening my fists in fear and turned it slowly. Pushing the door open, I heard a squeak. Not very loud but loud enough to wake my grandma. She didn’t wake up thank goodness. If she did you could hear her. She was loud and daunting. I don’t know why my mother sends my here, its stupid.

When the door had opened all I could see was balls of dust everywhere. It looked like fog but it was dust. Very disgusting and surprising to know that my grandmother is a complete neat freak.

I took a step in, coughing very softly so she couldn’t hear me. Then there was a thump. It had come from the closet. I started walking towards it and noticed a knife on the side table. Immense, razor-sharp and polished. I tiptoed over to the perilous weapon and picked it up. I dragged myself across the room with the knife in my right hand walking suspiciously and cautiously towards the closet. I wasn’t so afraid now as I wasn’t defenceless.

As Soon I reached the closet and gripped the handle tightly. I quickly opened the closet door. It had made a loud noise, a squeak crossed with a clunk.

To my surprise there was a dark male figure, covered in blood with a knife in his hand. His eyes were closed and in a impulsive blink his eyes opened. Looking up at me with his head down.

He stumbled out of the closet then started chasing me around the room. I held my breath so I wouldn’t ingest any dust.

I ran out of the room and he followed. My grandmother had started howling at me from below, but I took no notice of what she had said. I ran to the next room across the hall and stopped. I turned around and comfronted him. The dark individual started walking slowly to me, step my step squeaking the wooden floors.

With the knife in my hand I held it up and waited for his approach. He suddenly lunged at me with his large knife in the air. I twisted my knife across my body behind me and swung my arm diagonally along my body and sliced the dark being’s stomach.

He had stumbled backwards and then came at me again. I then forced the knife into his chest, but there was no blood. He had slapped me down to the floor and jammed his knife into my stomach.

My grandmother came rushing up the stairs. I was bleeding horrifically. Everything in my vision had gone blurry. My grandmother had started shouting at the dark individual and he walked away furious.

Soon enough I saw my grandmother with the knife. She stabbed the knife into my chest three times causing me to bleed even more. Blood was all over her carpets, my grandmother and myself.

I couldn’t move, couldn’t speak and then my grandmother plunged the knife into my chest again. She had then walked away and left me for dead. I felt so weak and numb. More blood came out, I was bleeding to death. One stage at a time I was dying. Three minutes later I was gone. Left for dead in my grandmothers home, committed by my own grandmother and the dark man who was mysteriously unknown.
