Love and all of its corniness.

Can love fly? Can it expand over miles of terrain? Can it bridge unimaginable distances? Can it thrive without contact and last without context? Can it send my heart to yours and not lose its potency along the way? Can it avoid the obsticles it may encounter, float over land and sea? In the end, do you think it can bring you back to me? Can it burn like wildfire destroying anything in its path? Can it carve its way like a river and puddle at your feet? Can it move with the air and burrow into your lungs, your blood? Can it be all that you are? Your entire existence, like it is mine?

Great poem! I love your choice of verbs...I'm glad you directed me here. Good site.

Let's talk about books again. And don't forget to check out Graham Greene.
