Burning down in flames.

Some say love is like fire. An inferno that burns deep into your soul, but fire burns out. Turns into ashes and is carried away by a breeze, forgotten. I think of love as water. A cool and soothing wash over your body. It carves its way deep into your heart, where it allows all things inside of you to blossom. Lust is more like fire. Burning, passionate and beautiful to look at. But eventually feelings burn out and float away much like ash on a windy day. I can say I have burned down in flames but I have never drown.

All your poems that I've read use very good analogies. Keep up the good work!
