Long summer nights filled with the ecstasy of your touch
Sweet kisses along my spine and soft words in my ear
The love I felt was complete and immeasurable
Wondering how I never knew you existed, we seemed to have been destined to meet
You were the One, given with a ring of promise
Roses and lilies of love eternal
Messages that sent me to sleep and awoke in me hope
Hope of a future
Hope of new beginnings
Listening to words of wisdom and experience you seemed so profound
Stories of intrigue of your darker past
Memories of days and people renowned
Your sad past still lingered and made you all the more beautiful
A family is what you wanted
A simple life on a simple island, made for the two of us
Eagerly the plan was set in motion
I was carried away by your flight of fancy
My head whirling with the sense of amazement and awe that was us
But overnight it changed
What was warm and sincere turned to cold lies
Stories of unbelievable intrigue
Of danger and death and government conspiracies
Accusations, manipulations, condemnations of things never intended or spoken
Love turned to dust in the blink of an eye
Innocence is about me
I did not hurt you
The cruel injustice overwhelms me
You were my forever
I was your Two Months

Will you tell the next one the same stories you told me?
