Sometimes you feel so lost that you can never be found.

I am awaken by the wretched sound
A cat's hiss, a dog's growl
My face pressed against the ground
Should I care to move, or to even look around

Nested in a corner, I lay
My life not in black-and-white, but instead grey
Nested in a corner,
I have fallen victim to my prey

I pity the kitty that never found its way home
Much like that city boy who was played like a toy
Molded in chrome, left all alone
Yeah, self-pity is my dear alloy

What's left to do, where else to go
What's there to fight for when nothing grows
No fertilizer to speed the process
Even open doors now grant no access

No one to hold me as I cry
No one to caress
Life shifted to standby
This trial has gone to recess

I pity that kitty that never found its way home
Much like that city boy who was played like a toy
Molded in chrome, left all alone
Much like the kitty who was tossed to the dog like a bone
Molded in chrome, left all alone
Yeah, self-pity is my dear alloy

My screams are much like faint meows
A kitty not so pretty, lost in the depth of the city
My screams fade, along with my pity
I am found, a toy beyond broken
Oh yes, the verdict has spoken

beautiful! but it makes me feel sad and i can tell that there are a lot of emotions put in this. like someone is actually lost, or lonely.

I loved the rhyming and flow of this. This certainly does seem like you put a lot of emotion into it. Very creative and interesting :)
