Child x

Is that her?

Is this her?

Her, My child

Child x

My flesh

Blood

My baby girl

I was 14

Pregnant

When he left me

When he knew about her

“She is not mine, slut”

He spat, slut

“Whore, tart, slut”

That was my name

Names I was given

From friends

Even family

People I thought I could trust

People I thought I could rely on

People I cared for, loved

They were meant to be there for me

Through everything

When I was confused

So confused

They left me

Stranded

Abandoned

Not knowing what to do

Should I abort her?

Give her away

Keep her

I hated her

For ruining my life

Or so I thought

When she came

I didn’t want to see her

Sent her away

Didn’t feel upset

Just angry

Angry at him

At my friends

My family

She had gone

Without a trace

Left me nothing

Just memories

Engraved harshly

In my heart

Now I regret

Not knowing or seeing

My little girl

I want her back

I want to hold her hand

To kiss her goodnight

To care for her

Where is she?

Where is my Child?
