Once upon a time, in the land of fairy-tales and dreams, there lived a rabbit twin called Chrissie and Christian Comforters. They were the children of the richest rabbits in the land. The twins never loved their surname because they loved to spend money all the time. They never thought of anyone but themselves. They relied on their parents and had a motto to spend more money instead of giving. BUT one day, their whole family disappeared.

“Chrissie, Chrissie, wake up”, Christian said urgently as he nudged his sister “NOW!” He dragged Chrissie out of her pink golden princess bed.
“What?” Chrissie whispered. She looked up at her brother and realised that he was staring at her grinning. Chrissie felt a frosty chill on her back and noticed she was still in her underwear.
“Get out of my room” shocked Chrissie said. She shoved Christian out and started preparing for her day ahead of her.

After preparing like any other day, Chrissie went into her and her brother’s private living room. Usually, Christian would have been watching TV or playing their PS3 or Wii or Xbox but instead he was pacing up and down scratching his head and chin. Chrissie knew this was new and there was something wrong. She could feel that twin connection.

Christian felt his sister in the room, turned to face her and said,
“There’s no one at home, even the servants are not here”. He was staring right into Chrissie’s eyes.
“Yeah! Right!” Chrissie said looking back at her brother. Neither Chrissie nor Christian blinked their eyes as they stared at each other, this made Chrissie get frightened. She knew she could not live without having someone doing things for her.

Suddenly, Christian noticed a glint in his sister’s eye and knew immediately she was up to something. She jerked out of her seat and ran towards the main building. Christian tried to stop her but she kept running till she reached the house.
“Okay, very funny” Chrissie yelled from the door way as her voice echoed in the hall. “Come out, everyone. I’m not scared but Christian is. Come out now.” Chrissie waited for a few seconds for someone to come out and laugh but no one came.

A couple of minutes passed and Chrissie started panicking. Christian tried to make his sister feel better but he himself was not strong to hold himself from crying. They went back into their rooms and stayed in their living area. The twins had never spent more than a minute of their lives alone in a very big environment. They realised how much they wanted and loved their parents and servants. They saw that they were mean not to share and started seeing things in a different way.

Then, a storm began. The storm was so strong that thunder roared and lightning flashed. The twins were so scared so they hugged each other on their sofa. Suddenly an earthquake broke the sofa into two, making Chrissie on one end and Christian on the other. The both of them screamed till their voice hurt. They screamed and screamed and screamed and...

SCREAMED... With a sudden jerk, the twins woke up in the arms of their father. The servants were watching them closely; relieved the twins had woken up after weeks fever. The servants were surprised when the twins started telling them off for leaving them all alone in the whole mansion. But they were more surprised when the twins apologised for being mean to them.

“We want to do anything that would make the world a better place. We want to be Comforters of the world as it was... is our destiny to follow our parents’ footsteps” Chrissie and Christian said quickly.
“Darling, you really want to donate to the charity?” their mother asked as she walked into the room
“Yes, yes, yes...”the twins said jumping up and down,
“We even want our own charity” Christian said
“And we shall call it ‘Comforting Twins’” Chrissie added
The proud parents beamed at their children and began to feel comfortable.
