Love

Is it true what they say

That love is hard to come by

When all I know is peace of heart

And warmth of commune

If so they are correct

What I know is falsified

Then this love I know

Is nothing but a trick

For only evil is of this world so they say

And all people have instincts

Which direct them into primacy

Ultimately rotting this earth

These instincts tell us

That we are loved

But truly we are hated

So they say

Why must we accept this as truth

When one has clear view of hope

That one day all will see through the lies

And bring forth rejoice

I believe we see this glimmer

But something is holding us back

Dragging us to fear

Of losing what we have

Love
