Jessica Kahal is a competitive swimmer with outstanding skills. She has great endurance, strength, excellent swimming stroke mechanics, and knows well how to insulate against heat loss when in the water below body temperature, that can result in better energy conservation. As a professional swimmer, Jessica has received many awards as well as honors. In 1999, she received the Most Improved swimmer award in Frosh/Soph Water Polo, and in 2000, she won the Most Valued Player (MVP) award during Frosh/Soph swimming competition. In 2003, she received Semper Fidelis Bandsman award from the U.S. Marine Corps.

Jessica Kahal is a competitive swimmer with outstanding skills. She has great endurance, strength, excellent swimming stroke mechanics, and knows well how to insulate against heat loss when in the water below body temperature, that can result in better energy conservation. She enrolled in Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in 1999 to complete her high school. As a professional swimmer, Jessica has received many awards as well as honors. In the 1999, she received the Most Improved swimmer award in Frosh/Soph Water Polo, and in 2000, she won the Most Valued Player (MVP) award during Frosh/Soph swimming competition. In the year 2003, she received Semper Fidelis Bandsman award from the United States Marine Corps. Jessica was also honored by the “National Honor Society” and “Spanish National Honor Society”. 

Jessica Kahal says that if an individual wants to become a professional swimmer, he or she has to refine his or her swimming skills, while approaching regional businesses for small sponsorships. She advises novice swimmers to spend some time in the water, and join swimming classes. These classes can help them optimize strengths and target weaknesses. By joining a swim community or a swim club, they can go for regular practice, managed instructions, and a number of chances to compete against other professionals. She tells that a swimmer should maintain an excellent physique by eating right food, which includes high calorie meals, so as to sustain the body through extensive workouts. Personalized physical training and physical therapy is very helpful in gaining muscle flexibility and strength. She says that some learners train with sports psychologists, so as to mentally prepare for main competitions. 

Jessica Kahal is a passionate swimmer and owing to her dedication and expertise, she had collected many accolades under her belt. She swam in the CIF finals for the 50m medley team, and had participated in Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Swimming under guidance of Ms. Juliano. She was an active swimmer for 4 years and from 1999 to 2001, she took part in Girl's Frosh/Soph and Varsity Water Polo. Additionally, she was a club swim team member of San Pedro Peninsula YMCA Swim Team under coach Dan Halladay from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, she also participated in the CIF State Swimming as well as Diving Tournaments in Long Beach that was a part of 4x50 Freestyle Relay and 4x50 Medley Relay.

She is a talented swimmer who is well versed with the effective techniques and methods that can help her win many other competitions.
