A love song. That's all. What most people consider my best work so far. You be the judge.

The most beautiful apostrophe I've seen

Was that radiant complexion walking in

The most heart-moving pair of parenthesis

Was those defining eyebrows curved towards me

The most sensible semicolons

Were those dark hazel eyes

And perhaps the creation of a whole new language

Would be her beauty

The longest noun

Is her black hair flowing behind her

The most descriptive adjective

Is her full smile beaming towards me

The most useful verb

Is her subtle voice talking to me

And I wish with all articles of my heart

The conjunction of our hands as we walk

All is too good for a literary man

To behold the personification of pronouns

Bespeaking the tetrameter of prepositions

To hear the onomatopoeia of free verse

Is a rhyme of my past-participle passion

For a walking metaphor of love
