Does she see the stars at night
They are the tears of mine
Each shining droplet unblinking
Another heartfelt tale of me
Can she read those flying colours
Each spelling her name
Will she spend a passing moment
And decipher each note left for her
And listen quietly, listen silently
To the music that flows
From my soul to her ears
That is a sad song from me
And will she let that sonnet
Flow into her heart as it did mine
To let that lead her into the stars
So they may guide her home to me
