Three thousand tears tumble from the sky:
Dawn is nigh.

The first of the battalion, did he see his reflection
When he hit the pond -
Sending ripples across the surface.
Revolution has begun.

Each weeping soldier that entered the pond,
Each brief life ends:
 - Splashes of destruction or waves of change
 - Rippling across the molten society.
And each brief life begins anew:
 - Indistinguishably together
 - Joined in the crowded expanse.

But that last drop, she watched her reflection from above
And entered the pond quietly.
 - No splashes of cheer or waves of welcome.
 - Dissappearing as soon as she had appeared.
The surface was calm when she entered,
And thus the pond became a lake.
