The music echoes in the hall

She turns around in circles

Searching for the sound

Trying to find the source

The light and fluffy chords

The constantly moving bass

Floating towards her ears

Making her wonder, wander and listen

Suddenly the key change comes

From major to minor the music flows

The freedom melting

The atmosphere left with regret and despair

She's closer now

The rhythm flooding through her body

The sound rising, higher and higher

She runs to the source

It's in her vision now

A shiny black piano

But the bench is empty

And her mind is full.
