Colors out the window,

Colors on my clothes,

Colors all around us,

Everywhere on earth

The color of a newborn baby,

The color of the human heart

The color of the tall oak trees,

The color of the wind

The color of embarrassed cheeks,

The color of your hidden shame

The color of a lover's hair,

The color of your ecstasy

The color of my pencil,

The color of this poetry

Colors surround us,

No matter where we go

Colors are so beautiful,

Even when invisible.
