This year,

It feels as if winter has not come

Where is the cold?

Where is the snow?

I miss the freezing weather,

I miss the cozy fire,

I miss the chill of the wind,

Sweeping across my face

Where is the cool frost?

Where are the pretty flakes?

I want to build a snowman,

I want to revel in the wonderful white bliss,

I want to drink hot chocolate,

Because I need its warmth

Where is the cold?

Where is the snow?

This year,

I wish winter would come,

I desperately wish

It would grace me with its presence.
