A song for one of the greatest teachers on earth

With his mighty wisdom and heart of gold.

Through battered acts and weathered lines

You always help us arrive on cue.

The lights are on

The curtains have begun to rise.

The spotlight, the sun of the stage

Burns brightly in our eyes.

The house is full

Smiling faces in the light.

We are here and we have you to thank

You’re the reason for opening night.

But you refused to let it go.

This performance can truly be considered

The show of our young lives.
