I try to take a peek.

But look in too close.

Can't dig to deep.

Cause climbing out hurts the most.

I try to keep things simple.

Try to stay just friends.

But my limits are crossed.

All the rules bent.

There is no more hiding the fact

That I love you

And so I let myself fall

There was nothing else left to do.

I thought I liked you at first.

Your sweet words and cute smile.

I should've known

You'd get sick of me after a while.

Find a new interest.

Someone better than me.

You tell me it's over.

She is something I can't be.

And now your back, again.

Trying to fix my heart as it burns.

But I won't come back to you.

Cause when love is lost

It never returns.
