Puddles of Honesty -or- Kshama

The peak is deserted. After the climb of a lifetime.

2 drops lay inches apart at the top of Everest. Flowers lay quietly, unscented. Their promises rich in joy, ease, peace. Life. Held for the briefest of moments. Impossibility, on all fronts, moves in like a lightning storm, all compass points reeling. Single drops fall steadily side by side now.

I'm sorry I'm not always graceful.

I'm not perfect at this human thing. You're not either. So many battles not worth their - cost.

Life's so short. How could you give up so easily?

I believed in you.

The only words I dream of now are, "Don't go." (But maybe dreams just don't come true).

If I go again, it will be for good.

I don't want to go.

You know your own truth. I know mine too.

I'm not in a rush.

But if I go again, it will be for good.

I'm sorry I'm not always graceful.

I know this isn't either. I'm just a girl. I believed in you.

If I go again, it will be for good.
