Water Cure

Poem by: craaig

Summary

I wasn't looking for It, honest! In a roudabout way It found me. This is gratitude.

I feel like a wanderer in the desert

Who, having found an oasis,

Wants to dive in

Wallow

And drink his fill

Yesterday.

But something within

The Water Itself

Reminds me today

Too much Water

After dehydration

Can make one sick

Sip it

Savour it

Respect it

For to muddy the Water

And drink It as though it were mine alone

Diminishes Its helpful Presence.

If I can remember to look beyond

My own reflection

i see

Without a shadow

Or a doubt

Still Waters run deep...
